Terms and Conditions

1. Provider and scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by BALATON-ENDURO Kft., 8300 Tapolca, Külterület hrsz 0124/1., Hungary (the “Operator”, “we”) at the Cross Country Valley facility in Tapolca, and to all reservation requests submitted via ccv-tapolca.com. They apply equally to consumers and businesses; individual provisions apply expressly only to businesses and are marked as such. Deviating terms of the customer do not become part of the contract unless we agree to them in writing.

2. Services

We offer: • Track use: riding the motocross and enduro tracks at your own responsibility, against a day ticket. • Training and coaching: guided riding training for individuals, groups, clubs and companies, across various motorcycle classes, levels and disciplines. • Parking space: overnight stays with a tent or camper on the area next to the paddock, with sanitary facilities and, on request, an electricity connection. The tracks are made available exclusively for training purposes and not as race tracks. Scope, track layout and facilities may change seasonally and with the weather. Depictions on the website describe the facility but do not constitute a guarantee of any particular condition on a given day.

3. Formation of the contract

The presentation of our services on the website is not a binding offer but an invitation to submit a request. By submitting the form you make a non-binding reservation request. You do not incur any payment obligation at that point. The automatic confirmation on the website and any acknowledgement of receipt by email merely document that your request has arrived. The contract is formed only when we expressly confirm your reservation by email. Only with this confirmation is your date bindingly reserved. We review every request individually and may decline it without giving reasons, for example due to lack of capacity, blocked days or incomplete information. For track use without a prior reservation, the contract is formed when the ticket is purchased on site.

4. Capacity and availability

The number of parking spaces, electricity connections and training places is limited. Days shown as free reflect a snapshot and do not constitute a reservation. Only our confirmation is decisive. We may block individual days for events, maintenance or safety reasons. Blocked days are marked in the calendar.

5. Prices

We do not publish a price list. We will state the price for the service you request on enquiry. These are final prices for the service named. Fees may be paid in euros and in forints; the price stated in the respective currency applies. Training prices depend on motorcycle class, level, discipline and scope. Where volume or group discounts apply, the amount stated in the confirmation governs.

6. Payment

Payment is made on site on arrival or before the service is used. We do not require a deposit; no payments are processed and no payment data is collected via this website. We accept cash only.

7. Cancellation, rebooking and no-shows

You may cancel a confirmed reservation at any time free of charge. No cancellation fee applies. We ask you to let us know as early as possible, and at the latest 48 hours before the booked date, informally by email to info@ccv-tapolca.com, stating your name and the date. Only then can we release the place or reassign a coach. In the case of repeated no-shows without cancellation, we reserve the right to decline future reservation requests. Rebooking to another date is possible subject to availability.

8. Operating hours, track rules and house rules

The facility is open daily; the main operating season runs from March to November. Access to the premises from 8:00, operating hours from 9:00 to 18:00. There is no entitlement to use outside these hours. The track rules available at the registration office apply throughout the premises and form part of the contract. Instructions from the Operator and staff must be followed at all times. They serve the safety of everyone present. We exercise house rights across the entire premises and may refuse entry or remove people from the site, in particular in the event of a breach of these terms or the track rules, endangerment of others, or failure to follow instructions. No refund is due in such cases.

9. Participation requirements and safety

Motocross and enduro are high-risk sports. Anyone entering the track does so in awareness of the associated dangers and at their own responsibility. The following applies to track use: • Protective equipment is mandatory: an approved helmet, goggles, gloves, motocross boots and chest and back protectors. Without complete equipment there is no access to the track. • The vehicle must be in technically sound, roadworthy condition. We may turn away vehicles with visible defects. • Riding under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication affecting fitness to ride is prohibited. Where there is suspicion, we will refuse access. • Everyone is personally responsible for being physically fit to take part. • Everyone is personally responsible for maintaining adequate insurance cover for themselves and their vehicle. We are not liable for damage that participants cause to each other.

10. Minors

People under 18 may enter and use the facility only when accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult authorised in writing by the guardian. The accompanying person must be present throughout the stay and assumes supervision. Reservations for minors may only be made by legal guardians. By submitting the request you confirm that you are entitled to do so. Additional requirements announced on site regarding motorcycle class and equipment apply to children's and youth training.

11. Cancellation and changes by the Operator

We may cancel or end early the use of the track, parts of it, or a training session where this is necessary for safety reasons, because of track condition or weather, by order of an authority, because a coach is unavailable, or for other reasons beyond our control. Assessing the safety situation is our responsibility. In such cases you may withdraw free of charge; any amounts already paid will be refunded in full. Further claims (in particular reimbursement of travel, accommodation or equipment costs, lost leisure time or loss of earnings) are excluded. This does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

12. Parking space

The parking space is available to you for the period stated in the confirmation. Arrival times are agreed with you in advance. The price per space and night includes one person; each additional person is charged per night. An electricity connection is available only with prior reservation and for an additional charge; the number of connections is limited. If you leave earlier than booked, we charge only for the nights actually used. The parking space must be kept clean in accordance with the applicable environmental regulations. Anyone causing environmental damage through gross negligence is liable for it. Waste must be taken away and disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. Sanitary facilities must be left clean. Campers and vehicles may only be parked in the areas assigned. Vehicles and equipment are left at your own risk; we do not accept them for safekeeping.

13. Liability

A liability waiver must be signed at registration. Use of the entire premises is at your own risk.

14. Customer obligations

You are required to treat the facility with care, comply with the track rules and report any damage you cause without delay. You are liable under statutory provisions for culpably caused damage to the facility, its equipment or third-party property.

15. Photo and video recordings

Photos and videos of riding activity are taken on the premises and used to present the facility. We display a notice about this on site. You may object at any time to the publication of recordings in which you are identifiable, on site to a member of staff or by email to info@ccv-tapolca.com. Details are set out in the privacy policy. Under the applicable official regulations, drone flights are permitted only with the express authorisation of the Hungarian aviation authority.

16. No right of withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal for contracts concerning services related to leisure activities and use of the premises, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. This follows from Section 29(1)(l) of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.) and is based on Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU. Since our services (track use, training and parking space) are always reserved for a specific day or period, the statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to you. Irrespective of this, we grant you the right to cancel free of charge at any time; the details are set out in clause 7.

17. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please address complaints to us directly first: info@ccv-tapolca.com. We will handle them within the statutory period. If that does not lead to agreement, as a consumer you may turn free of charge to the competent conciliation board (békéltető testület). Contact details are in the legal notice. We are obliged to participate in such proceedings. The route to the competent consumer protection authority and to the ordinary courts also remains open to you.

18. Applicable law, language and final provisions

Hungarian law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which you have your habitual residence as a consumer remain unaffected (Art. 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008). In relation to businesses, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the Operator's registered office. In relation to consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply. These terms are available in German, English and Hungarian. The Hungarian version prevails; the other versions are for information only. Should any provision be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The statutory provision replaces the invalid one. We reserve the right to amend these terms. Amendments apply in their current version from the time of publication. These Terms and Conditions have been in force since 1 August 2026.
